What is Emotional Fitness

Emotional Fitness is an online body–mind program offering practical tools to understand the biology of stress, anxiety, and trauma. It invites participants to explore how bodily experience and intentional movement support both physical and emotional healing.

Unlike traditional programs, Emotional Fitness combines accessible trauma neuroscience with principles from yoga, Pilates, functional training, and somatic practices. This approach supports nervous system regulation, helps safely move out of freeze responses, and builds resilience through embodied awareness.

The program views body and mind as deeply interconnected, teaching the mind its own strength by observing and trusting the body’s capacity to heal.

Participants will develop the capacity to reconnect with their bodies while exploring emotional experience. This unique format integrates physical and emotional strength, supporting meaningful changes in both the body and emotional well-being.

As part of social engagement, the live sessions promote a sense of contentment, comfort, and ability to participate in the capacity of each individual.

❋ Expert Facilitation

Alma is a somatic practitioner who developed her work through both personal healing and professional training. After navigating a serious chronic illness, she began listening deeply to the body through conscious movement. This lived experience, combined with her studies in psychology, somatic work, and energy healing, informed the creation of this program.
